Page 125 “This is the fundamental secret of caring for our souls. Our part in this practicing the presence of God is to direct and redirect our minds constantly to Him… A new, grace-filled habit will replace the former ones as we take intentional steps toward keeping God before us.” Dallas Willard “the Great Omission”
Righteousness is obeying the spirit of God within us, with a clean conscience, increasing our productivity with the fruit of the spirit, edifying the spirit in others, and knowing love and peace.
Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Righteous simply means to be right... spiritually right. We are right when we give into living the way God intended us to live. Honesty, sincerity, truth, are prerequisites to righteousness. When we deceive or manipulate with tricks and persuasion we move into lies, dishonesty, and being fake which is sin and destructive.
As we develop our righteousness we move into God's grace (grace is favor and God favors his character and principles) Please take time to read the scripture below, read it with a spiritual brother or sister and talk about it and revisit it often.
