Proverbs 6- Warning against Folly

Proverbs 12:6 The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them.

Proverbs 19:5 A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.

Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked.

Isaiah 28:15 You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death, with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place.”

2 Thessalonians 2 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing.

Titus 1:2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,

Deceit

Psalm 26:4 I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites.

Psalm 32:2 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.

Psalm 36:3 The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.

Psalm 43:1 [ Psalm 43 ] Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.

Psalm 101:7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.

Psalm 119:29 Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Proverbs 6:14 who plots evil with deceit in his heart— he always stirs up conflict.

Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy.

Proverbs 14:25 A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.

Proverbs 17:4 A wicked person listens to deceitful lips; a liar pays attention to a destructive tongue.

Proverbs 26:24 Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their hearts they harbor deceit.

Isaiah 30:9 For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.

Jeremiah 6:13 “From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit.

Jeremiah 8:5 Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.

Mark 4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Secret

Deuteronomy 27:15 ‘Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ “And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen!’

Deuteronomy 27:24 ‘Cursed is the one who attacks his neighbor secretly.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’

2 Kings 17:9 Also the children of Israel secretly did against the LORD their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city.

Job 13:10 He will surely rebuke you If you secretly show partiality.

Job 31:24-28

24 “If I have made gold my hope,

Proverbs 30:9 Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the LORD?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.
